Yes. Sailing holidays are also suitable for families. Many boats are equipped with safety nets and family cabins. Some itineraries are designed specifically for families with children.

Aboard a sailboat, you can experience the freedom of the wind, explore hidden coves, wake up in a different place every day, and let yourself be rocked by the slow rhythm of sailing. Whether you are organizing a sailing trip as a couple, with friends, or with family, this type of holiday combines adventure, relaxation, and contact with nature.
Prices vary based on the season, destination, and type of boat. In the low season, prices can start from €400–€600 per person for a week; in the high season, this increases to €800–€1,200. Extra costs such as the skipper, fuel, galley (food/provisions), and final cleaning must then be added to this cost, among others.
A week on a sailing boat is the most common option for those trying this type of holiday for the first time. Generally, you set sail on Saturday afternoon and return on Friday evening, disembarking the following Saturday morning. Itineraries vary depending on the destination: islands, rugged coastlines, marine reserves and marinas alternate in a continuous experience of sailing, swimming, excursions and breathtaking sunsets. On board, you sleep in double cabins, cook together or stop at local restaurants. The pace of the day is determined by the weather conditions and the route chosen with the skipper.
Those with a sailing license can opt for a bareboat charter (without a skipper), while those without experience or who desire a more relaxed experience can choose a sailing trip with a skipper. The skipper is responsible for navigating the boat, ensuring safety, and can suggest the best stops, the quietest anchorages, and the most interesting activities to do ashore. It is also possible to include a hostess or a cook to make the experience even more comfortable.
No. If you have no experience, you can simply book the entire boat with a skipper. The crew will guide you and ensure you have the experience in total safety.
