Charter a sailboat in Kastela

The Kastela Marina features probably one of the widest selections of chartered sailboats in the whole Adriatic Sea. The town of Kastela itself is just 10 km from Split International Airport and is the ideal departure spot for those who want to discover on a sailboat the incredible Southern Croatian islands of Brac, Hvar, Vis, and Lastovo. Other possible destinations when renting a sailboat from Kastela include Korcula or the Kornati Archipelago.

On my first visit to the Kastela Marina, I actually ended up spending three days--that’s how many charter companies there are here. Of course, not all of them have been included in the Sailogy network, as I choose only quality sailboats. This is a good base to choose if you think it might be fun to meet some cruising mates: literally dozens of sailing holidays depart from here on Saturdays and Sundays, and it’s quite easy to find other fun boats to sail with. But this isn’t a quaint, touristic kind of marina: it’s modern, large and functional. There is a nice beach close by if you happen to arrive too early for check-in.
