The British Virgin Islands are known for some of the best shipwreck dives in the world. Dive sites around the British Virgin Islands feature stunning shipwrecks, seamounts, coral gardens and sandy bottoms. If diving from Tortola, the most famous dive site is the RMS Rhone shipwreck which lies off the nearby Salt Island - this great wreck is also accessible from Virgin Gorda and Scrub/Cooper Island. A seamount called Blonde Rock is always buzzing with activity and is wonderful to visit. For a bit more excitement and pelagic marine life, dive from Virgin Gorda, access the Dog Islands which features underwater formations like arches and canyons.
Pristine turquoise waters, unforgettable underwater scenery, balmy air temperatures all year round. You'll feel like a kid in a candy shop when diving in the BVI. Diving keeps the adrenaline pumping for everyone from novice snorkelers to experienced scuba divers.
Watch this video produced by the BVI Tourism Board to get a taste of what it's like to dive there.
