From Marsala you can sail the coastline of Sicily, take a dip in the Egadi Islands blue sea, navigate around the Aeolian Islands and you can also touch the coast of Tunisa.
The Marina di Marsala is very close to the elegant walled town of Marsala, on the western coast of Sicily. This is the perfect departure spot to rent a sailboat and cruise towards the Egadi Archipelago, the island of Pantelleria and even down to Tunisia.
The Trapani airport is just 12 km away - a huge convenience - and there’s a bus service to the center of town every 20 minutes. The base is located inside the commercial harbor of Marsala but is very clean, well-organized and protected from winds - just be aware of the Mistral, which can be tricky.
This is one of the nearest departure point from where you can charter a sailboat to the Egadi Islands, and if you sailing holiday in Marsala includes a few days on land in Sicily, don’t miss out a chance to visit nearby archeological sites like Segesta or Erice.
