Set a little further afield than the stunning sea scenery and clear waters of Stintino's beach resort, a must-visit boutique of Italy's lies in the shopping resort just north of the island of Sardinia. Head to Gioielleria Aquamarine to shop a beautifully curated jewellery collection inspired by the marine surroundings. For a more cultural selection, Lu Magasinu plays host to a wonderfully eclectic range of local products, handicrafts and souvenirs that'll enthrall and delight.
Along the winding coastal road out of Stintino you’ll find Da Ugo, which serves up some deliciously tender porcetto (suckling pig). You’ll need to book ahead if you’re planning on the pork, so should that not be available the fresh seafood and the views are worthy of taking a seat anyway in the slightly kitsch dining room (Corso Italia 7, Lu Bagnu).
Right on Stintino’s port the Lu Fanali restaurant is worth popping your head in to for a quick bite of pizza. Once the old get together of this then-tiny town, Lu Fanali is still popular to this day. Catch the characters of the city chowing down on pizza here (Lungomare C. Colombo 89).
