Description

Step aboard The Moorings new Beneteau Oceanis 48. A strikingly slender new monohull designed for greater performance, easy handling and onboard comfort. This specific 48, which is only available in the British Virgin Islands is specially equipped with a series of custom onboard amenities and is air-conditioned throughout.The deck and cockpit layout is clean and functional. The cockpit is exceedingly wide, with plenty of room for two comfortable helm stations to port and starboard, a very large fixed cockpit, and two long bench seats. Forward of the cockpit is a large arch to which the single-line mainsheet is led. When under sail and motoring, her performance is impressive and the helm is responsive.The 48 also features a full-width motorized fold-down transom, which, when deployed, effectively transforms the back of the boat into a floating waterside bench. This makes it very easy to board and disembark from tenders and also serves as a fabulous swim platform.In the cockpit, she is outfitted with natural wood flooring and a refrigerated ice-box. Sail control, docking and navigational systems are top-of-the-line with windlass control, electric winches, SIMRAD electronics, autopilot, radar, multifunction color GPS, chartplotter and PC Interface connection.Below deck, she offers a spacious three-stateroom layout, with a huge master stateroom forward. The twin staterooms located aft under the cockpit are expertly designed and bathed in natural light. All cabins offer upgraded mattresses.Guests will also find comfortable seating in the U-shaped saloon to starboard and facing loveseat to port.  The galley offers generous amounts of counter space, storage, a 3-burner oven grill cooker, microwave, front-loading fridge/freezer.
