Lefkas comprises a multiplicity of large offshore islets, making it a prime destination for sailing. While you can't step foot on the fortified Skorpios - for good reason, Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani bought the islet for a reported £120m - excursion boats regularly call for the benefit of fashion enthusiasts.
To quench your own fashion thirsts, the clifftop village of Spartahori in Meganissi boasts a little harbour and pebble beaches, accompanied by mini markets and local boutiques, or venture to Town Lefkas to absorb rustic air and scents, local stores and daily markets.
The stunning millbeach provides a world-class location for kite and wind surfers, who love meeting at the close small café after the wave breaking and having a beer on the terrace overlooking the beach and the coloured sea.

Lefkas Town, amongst its sleepy streets, has a couple of good restaurants hidden from view. Mezzes rule the roost, though meat lovers will also be satisfied. Romantica restaurant has nightly performances of the local folk music too, which adds a little life to a largely relaxed crowd (Mitropoleos). If you follow the road round to the North, halfway between the windmill and the lifting bridge you will come to a fish taverna at the beach with nice swimming and you can watch the numerous kite surfers, a spectacular sight!
On the main square of town the Lefkas locals gather in Casbah, which is the closest there is to steamy nightlife in the area. At the Byblos, the most famous club in Lefkas, you will have the chance to drink tasty cocktails and entertain till the morning light, and there are often organized karaoke nights you will never forget!
